As the sun begins to shine a little brighter and longer and the sap starts to run for maple syrup, Brantim Garden Centre is thrilled to welcome you to the vibrant season of spring! It’s time to start planning your garden’s awakening from their winter slumber and get ready to let your green thumbs flourish.

Here’s what’s sprouting up at our garden centre this season:

Fresh Arrivals

We have partnered with a new perennial shrub supplier from the Niagara Region that brings new offerings to our fruit tree & flowering shrubs. These will be available for sale in the greenhouse only and include:

• 4 in 1 apple tree option. This is a great option for those who like variety but don’t have the room for multiple species of trees. Also, as an added bonus these trees do not need partner pollinator trees, as they self pollinate.
• 3 in 1 blueberry shrub. This new variety has been grafted from 3 separate blueberry species that offer different flower-fruit times to extend production season.
• Wichita Blue Upright Junipers – Very hardy evergreens that over-winter well in our area and will offer a great backbone to landscape features around your yard or property.

Annuals & Herbs

As always, we have a great selection of annuals, herbs & vegetables to choose from this season. Pre-order is available now on our website. Be sure to order early, so you get what you want.

Hanging Baskets

There’s no mistaking them, everyone knows a Brantim hanging basket! We have our traditional large and small hanging baskets available for sale online. High demand for hanging baskets over the past few years has called for us to introduce and grow new recipes for our large hanging baskets and we’re excited to be offering two new mixed petunia recipes and a large shade basket recipe this year both of which were tested last year and performed exceptionally. These beauties will ONLY be available for sale in the greenhouse.

Old Faithfuls

For those of you who have been faithful Brantim clients, we thank you so much for your support and we assure you we continue to grow and offer the large and small containers and window boxes that you know and love. We know your home just wouldn’t look the same this summer without these. There are many varieties to choose from, all available for pre-order online. Again, don’t wait because these are pop-u-lar and always sell out.

Greenhouse Opening

We’re busy in the greenhouse, plants are everywhere, although we can’t wait to see you, please don’t visit until we have everything ready.
